Antonella Caggiani

Antonella Caggiani was born in 1961 in Rome where she graduated in Political Sciences, specializing in Economics.

She lived in Belgium from 1972 to 1974 and from 1997 to 2000. During this last period she worked in the NATO Headquarters based in Mons. In 1988 she obtained a diploma as screenplayer from the “Laboratorio Cinema” in Rome under the supervision of the screenplayer/writer Roberto Mazzucco.

Between 1989 and 1992 she lived in France (Ardèche/Drôme) where she worked as a free-lance translator for the Tourism Office of the Drôme Department.

After her graduation she worked on bibliographic researches and edition of final thesis. In 1996 she obtained the biannual diploma of Shiatsu therapist. In the years between 2001 and 2002 she worked as editorial secretary for the political information leaflet “Democrazia Moderna”. Since 2003 she is working for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome.

She is currently working as editor, press office responsible and translator with the Consciousness Research Institute.
